OVERALL DESCRIPTION

At Kährs, climate reporting is turned into concrete actions across the business and is used to set strategic goals and our collective way forward within the area of sustainability. We work towards providing our customers with high data transparency and critical information to enable best possible sustainable buying decisions for our customers.

We are looking for a temporary Environmental Control Officer for our global Sustainability team to develop, maintain, and coordinate our sustainability linked document, collect climate data and analyze climate data in a collaborative way cross function and teams within Kährs. The role includes overseeing the climate agenda for the total Kährs value chain to be able to set valid strategic commitments and goals together with sustainability team and passionate peers.

With your personality where sustainability is of importance and expertise in environment, data, and certifications, you will create real impacts in our business and our sustainability work. This will improve our customer offer and enable us to reach even higher targets in our climate agenda working with our low carbon transition plan and sustainability reporting according to GRI and upcoming CSRD.

TASKS

1. Coordinate the climate reporting for each Kährs Sustainability Report to secure a process with timely delivery of high quality.
2. Assist sales in providing customers with environmental data.
3. Collaborate with other functions – inside and outside of the sustainability function – to integrate climate-related footprints into other solutions and tools, and that relevant prerequisites and business requirements are identified and addressed.
4. Work together with sustainability team to develop sustainability and ESG reporting according to new requirements and standards.

BACKGROUND

• You have a technical background and or background in environmental science and or business.
• You have good communication skills, both written and spoken. English will be your main working language and other mastered languages are regarded as positive add-on
• A habit of working in a global environment with many contact points cross functional teams
• You are a proactive, hands-on person with solution-oriented mindset and customer focus
• You are detailed, organized, and result oriented who with endurance work towards final delivery and goals.
• As a person, you have proven track record of being able to work on your own. You are curious and inventive and appreciate collaboration and moving towards goals together.

This position is a 6-month temporary employment which will be placed at one of our units in Sweden, Malmö or Nybro and you will report to the Global Sustainability Manger and be part of the global CMO team.
