MARKETING PROJECT LEADER

OVERALL DESCRIPTION

As a marketing project leader, you will be responsible for the project management of multiple campaigns to drive brand awareness and increased sales. You will be driving projects from brief to finish and follow up – and the activities can be both off- or online, always with the aim of driving sales and strengthening Kährs position and brand. Furthermore, the role will also mean that you run marketing activities and tactical campaigns, both digital and otherwise from start to finish across functions, regions and promotional channels including setting the project time-plan, actions, KPI’s and targets. You will also contribute by creating content and design of marketing material including presentations, one-pagers, ads, brochures and more.

You will be part of the Central Marketing team, with colleagues working within such areas as Social Media, web, branding, campaigns, internal and external communications reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communication. The Central Marketing team is part of the Central Marketing Organization which also houses Product Category, Sustainability Management and IT & Digitalization and is headed by Kährs CMO.

TASKS

  1. Responsibility for strategic and operational management and coordination as well as quality assurance of projects and productions of market-related projects from start to finish.
  2. Operate, plan and lead the work in project groups and be the contact person for all internal business areas and external partners.
  3. This includes maintaining and improving the coordination of the marketing plan and product launches with the local market functions to ensure a coordinated strategy towards the respective markets.              
  4. Independently design and create marketing material including the content such as sales presentations, one-pagers and print-files for other off-line marketing material.
  5. Responsible for independently and pro-actively setting project plans, leading projects cross-functionality and across markets, meeting project deadlines, deliverables and setting and following-up on project budget ensuring that all project targets are met.
  6. Identify possibilities to strengthen and drive brand awareness and customer- and sales support

DELIVERABLES

Deliver on assigned projects while in close dialogue with Product Category, Sales and IT & Digitalization and external partners such as media, advertising agencies and digital agencies. You will be responsible for evaluating and gathering insights and lessons learned from completed campaigns, activities, and projects.         

Measurables: KPI's of project deliverables, satisfaction of both internal and external stakeholders, Net Sales

BACKGROUND

  • You hold an academic degree, probably in marketing or digital marketing, with proven experience and competence.
  • A benefit if you have experience or a competence within graphic design of some sort
  • Project management experience, at least 5 years of operational project being able to work independently and pro-actively including project planning, budgeting, setting of a projects KPI’s, and following-up and measuring on budget and KPI’s.
  • Relevant experience of the digital customer journey and a habit of leading teams in various marketing and digital development projects – cross-functionally and across different markets
  • A genuine interest and passion for digitalization linked to marketing and how to streamline and improve the user interface for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Content creation – both graphically, copy and point of sales as well as print-files for production
  • Used to working in a global fast-moving environment with many contact points and stakeholders to be able to set requirements and evaluate suppliers
  • Knowledge and proven experience of using Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and Office suite, mainly Excel and PowerPoint
  • An unimpeded knowledge of English, both in speech and writing when used in daily communication
  • Experience of CRM Dynamics 365 and marketing automation knowledge is an advantage
  • You are a proactive person with a positive outlook. You enjoy working both strategically and operationally and can handle many different things at once.
  • You appreciate a good team; you enjoy working as a member of one or more cross-functional teams and you have an unpretentious attitude.
  • You are flexible and ready to pick up where needed. You are structured and independent in your work, at the same time as you obviously work goal-oriented and result-oriented.
